Verve's April Diva Inspirations Hop!

Hello Verve fans!!  Today I'm very excited to share with you a little Verve goodness for Verve's April Diva Inspirations Hop!  The April Inspiration Challenge is Chevron Chic!  Chevrons are the new polka-dots! Get groovy and use this popular pattern somewhere on your creation. Whether you draw inspiration from the graphic or zig-zag off on your own, just show us some chic chevrons!  If you have been hopping along, you should have arrived here from Janelle's blog.  If you're just stumbling upon this post, you can find the entire hop list over on the Verve blog or further down in this post.

For this month's inspiration challenge, I decided to go with my gut...  Lately I've had a fierce craving for vanilla frosted cupcakes with sprinkles.  It was in the spirit of this delicious inspiration that I created my card for you today.  Once I found this awesome chevron multicolored paper, I knew it was a perfect pairing with the Carpe Cupcake stamp set for my thematic take on month's inspiration challenge.  After some stitching and plenty of fun Verve embellishments including the Flag It Die Set, the Pastel Sequins Mix, the Pastel Polka Dot Ribbon Collection, and the Award Banner and Flourished Trim dies to add some party spirit.  My layout was inspired by this week's Deconstructed Sketch (#145)

Don't forget that there's a prize hidden along today's hop so remember to leave a little love in the comment section of each blog as you hop around.  A random winner will be drawn from one of the comments on the mystery blog and will receive a sweet prize!!

Unfortunately, I'm the last stop on today's blog hop but I invite you to return to the Verve blog to catch up with the entire list in case you missed a blog.  Here is the master list for today:
